Facts & Figures
Our Classic Safaris are the legendary journeys of a bygone era. Each one offers an impressive balance of the features we emphasize on all of our safaris -- exploration, learning, and observation.
A Classic Safari can include many delights. Like an incomparable hot-air balloon safari at dawn, over the silent and striking Namib Desert. Or hiking in the ruggedly beautiful Chimanimani Mountains, an enthralling wilderness of rocks, caves, and waterfalls. For the culturally inquisitive, an expedition to a remote Himba village in Kaokaland. And for our confident (fearless) guests, tracking dangerous predators on a walking safari, or canoeing through the crocodile and hippo choked waters of the mighty Zambezi will never be forgotten.
A Classic Safari gives you the opportunity to develop new insights, learn about new cultures, observe wildlife habits and habitats, and explore the scenic wonders you’ve heard so much about.
