Facts & Figures
Are you ready to go? Please fill out our application form, and include your trip deposit. All payments can be made by personal check. Prices are quoted in US dollars, and all payments must be made in US dollars.
We reserve the right to cancel any trip, due to inadequate sign-up that makes the trip economically unfeasible for us to operate. In such a case, we will inform you at least 45 days prior to departure. If we have to cancel your trip, we will provide a full refund of the trip cost.
PLEASE NOTE: Magamba Safaris is not responsible for additional expenses you may incur in preparation for your trip (such as advance purchase airfare, passport and visa fees, clothing and equipment, and medical expenses).

Scheduled Departures
Trip booking: 25% of the trip cost
90 Days Prior: 25% of the trip cost
60 Days Prior: balance of the trip cost
Private Departures
Trip booking: 25% of the trip cost
120 Days Prior: 25% of the trip cost
90 Days Prior: balance of the trip cost
After we receive your deposit, we'll send you a package of documents, including a clothing and equipment list, invoice, insurance information, required immunization list, and other information to help you prepare for your trip. Final trip details and group rosters are sent about three weeks before your scheduled departure.

Etosha National Park
Items included in your trip:
Professional guides, accommodations, all meals (except where noted in the itinerary), airport transfers, sightseeing as noted in the itinerary, items of a reasonable personal nature, including laundry, sodas and alcoholic beverages, all park entrance fees and permits, and ground transportation.
Items not included in your trip:
International airfare, regional/domestic airfare, charter flights, meals not noted on itinerary, optional gratuities for your professional guides and local staff, excess baggage charges, airport departure taxes, cost of medical immunizations, and insurance of any kind. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may transfer to another trip without penalty, up to 90 days prior to the scheduled trip departure. Within 90 days of departure, you are subject to the standard Cancellation Fees (appropriate to the date you notify us of your wish to transfer). We recommend that you purchase the travel insurance package to protect yourself.

At the time we receive written notice or a fax that you must cancel your trip, the following fees will apply. All dates are from departure date:
Scheduled Departures
Over 90 days: $500
90 to 60 Days: 25% of the trip cost
59 to 30 Days: 50% of trip cost
Less than 30 Days: 100% of trip cost
Private Departures
Over 90 Days: 25% of the trip cost
90 to 60 Days: 50% of the trip cost
Less than 60 Days: 100% of trip cost
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $250 cancellation penalty for all trip extensions, and a $50 cancellation penalty for any unused special services, including camera and binocular rentals.
